In Between assessments are carried out with In Between Checklist, our own in-house framework. It reads a space through 1,175 criteria, 58 main headings, 17 venue categories and 20 diagnostic themes. The Checklist is a tool for reading, not for deciding: every assessment is combined with on-site observation and expert interpretation.

How it works
Each criterion is scored on site from 1 to 5 and documented with notes and photos. Criteria are never read in isolation: each one is linked to diagnostic themes. When several criteria linked to the same theme score low together, we do not see separate shortcomings; we see a systemic problem. The result is a diagnostic map specific to the venue: priority issues, areas where a small intervention has a high impact, and a roadmap of short, medium and long-term steps.
In Between Checklist is the internal framework behind our consultancy; the full list of criteria is not published.
