In Between Consultancy is an independent spatial experience consulting structure.
It operates between architectural production and user experience, focusing on how spaces are perceived, used, and remembered.
Rather than designing spaces, In Between supports decision-making processes by reading spatial potential, identifying experiential gaps, and strengthening coherence between intention and outcome.
In Between Consultancy was founded by Zeynep Didem Bardakcı, drawing on her background in architecture, artistic production, manufacturing, and on-site practice. Academic knowledge and implementation experience inform a holistic reading of the relationship between people and space.
The practice began with façade and window-display design at Axis & Line, expanded into project-specific objects and sculptures at Art & More Atelier, and developed into Art & More Gallery as collections required a place for presentation. The structure was renamed Zeynep Didem Bardakcı Studio to make clear that the works and designs produced and presented belong exclusively to Bardakcı. The Studio continues to create sculptures, decorative objects, designs, and project-specific work.
The structure is grounded in architecture, spatial design, artistic production, and on-site implementation experience.
Academic knowledge and field-based practice operate together. This allows In Between to produce insights that are not only conceptual, but also realistic, applicable, and aligned with production and operational constraints.
In Between Consultancy does not replace the production activities of Zeynep Didem Bardakcı Studio. While the Studio continues to create sculptures, objects, designs, and project-specific work, In Between accompanies this practice as a spatial experience consultancy arising from the same background in architecture, art, and production.
In Between Consultancy works alongside the project owner or investor as an independent external perspective, in dialogue with architectural teams. It clarifies intentions, translates expectations, and makes alternatives, risks, and the effects of decisions visible. It does not replace architectural design or offer a ready-made package, guaranteed outcome, or standard solution for every space.
Well-designed spaces do not always create strong experiences. The issue often lies not in form, but in priorities, decisions, and perspective.
In Between Consultancy exists to make these points visible and to help projects evolve in a more balanced, intentional, and sustainable direction.
